Privacy Policy

The short version: ToolBlast has no accounts, asks for nothing about you, and never stores what you type into a tool. It counts page views and it loads Google's advertising script, and those are the only ways anything about your visit leaves your browser. Everything below is the detail behind that.
What we never collect
There is no sign-up, so we hold no name, email address, password or profile. We do not ask your age, location or anything else about you, and there is no form on this site that sends data to us — the contact page gives you an email address rather than a form.
Nothing you type into a tool is stored on a server, or sent to one. The names on a wheel, the list you split into teams, the sentence you paste into the brainrot translator — all of it is processed by JavaScript inside the page you are looking at. There is no request to send it anywhere, because there is no backend to send it to.
One thing to be precise about, because it would be easy to overclaim: a tool that keeps a history keeps it in your browser, and where you supplied the options — the wheel, the decision maker, the team generator — the result it records is one of your own words. That stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and the tool's Clear button empties it.
What is stored in your browser
ToolBlast uses your browser's localStorage for the things it would be annoying to set again on every visit. This is not a cookie and it is not sent with requests: it sits on your device, readable only by this site, and we never see it.

Clearing site data for thetoolblast.com in your browser removes all of it, and nothing breaks — the site just forgets your preferences.
Cookies, and what declining actually does
Two Google services run on this site: Google Analytics 4, which counts page views and which tools get used, and Google AdSense, which is how the site is meant to pay for itself. To be straight with you about the second one: there are no ad units on these pages at the moment, because AdSense has not approved the site yet. Its script is loaded all the same, so it is described here as though it were serving. Both can set cookies, and both are told what you chose in the banner through Google's Consent Mode.
Until you answer the banner, and permanently if you decline, all four consent signals — ad storage, ad user data, ad personalisation and analytics storage — are set to denied. In that state Google's tags still load, but they do not read or write cookies on your device: any ads, once there are any, are non-personalised, and analytics arrives as an anonymous count with nothing tying one visit to another. That is what Consent Mode is for, and it is the honest description of “denied” — it means no cookies and no identifiers, not that Google is absent from the page.
Accepting flips those four signals to granted, which lets Google use cookies to personalise ads and to recognise a returning visitor in the analytics.
Either way the tools behave identically. Nothing on this site is withheld from you for declining.

Who else is involved
Google is the only third party with any access to data about your visit. Its own policies govern what it does with it: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can turn off personalised advertising across every site at My Ad Center, independently of anything you choose here.
The site is served by Hostinger, which like any web host records standard server logs — IP address, time, and which page was requested — as a normal part of serving a page. We do not build anything from those logs.
Fonts come from Google Fonts and are served from this site's own domain rather than fetched from Google at page load, so visiting a page does not tell Google Fonts anything about you.
How long anything is kept
What you type: not kept at all. Your preferences and tool history: in your browser until you clear them. Analytics: Google's retention applies, and it is aggregate data with nothing in it that identifies you. We keep no database of our own, because we have no database.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, the UK, or a US state with its own privacy law, you have rights over personal data held about you — to see it, correct it, have it deleted, and to object to its use. They are unusually easy to exercise here, because we hold nothing: there is no account to look up and no record with your name on it. Anything stored about you is on your own device and you can delete it yourself, either with the button above or by clearing site data for this domain.
For data Google holds through its cookies, the links in the previous section are the place to go — that data is Google's and we cannot reach into it. If you want to ask us something about any of this, email us and we will answer.
Children
ToolBlast is written to be suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them — which is straightforward, given we do not knowingly collect anything from anybody.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date is the honest signal.
